Another cold front will reach the northern Gulf Wed and move into the central Gulf through Thu. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A cold front will drift through the Yucatan Channel today and stall across the far NW Caribbean this evening, before becoming diffuse through Sun. Meanwhile, broad high pressure NE of the area will maintain fresh to strong winds across the central Caribbean through mid week, with highest winds expected near coast of Colombia at night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... Westerly winds to near-gale force are observed in a scatterometer pass off the NE Florida coast following a cold front reaching from 31N73W to the Straits of Florida. Winds and seas will diminish through tonight as the front moves to a position from 31N65W to Central Cuba by early Sun. The front will gradually become stationary along roughly 24N east of the Bahamas by Tue, then become diffuse through Wed.
