Fresh to strong winds and large seas in the eastern Gulf will diminish and subside today. A surface high pressure center in the SW Gulf of Mexico will shift NE across the central waters today, and move across the Florida Panhandle on Sunday. A weak cold front will move into the northern Gulf waters by Sunday afternoon, stalling and washing out there through early Monday afternoon. Fresh return flow will set up across the NW waters on Tuesday with these conditions spreading E across the entire gulf waters on Wednesday. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Strong to near gale force trade winds will continue across the S central Caribbean Sea through Wednesday night, increasing to minimal gale force along the NW coast of Colombia during the overnight hours beginning tonight. A stationary front passes from SE Cuba to western Jamaica to central Costa Rica. The front will stall completely, and dissipate gradually through Sunday. Fresh to locally strong northerly winds will prevail W of the front, except near gale force along the coast of Nicaragua today. Fresh to strong flow will develop across the approach to the Windward Passage and in the Lee of Cuba by Wednesday night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
