Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Low pres system over SE Texas will track eastward along the U.S.
Gulf coast this weekend with strong to near gale southerly winds
ahead of a trailing cold front mainly N of 26N. Fresh to strong
winds will follow the front Sat night through Sun night, with
gale force winds possible over the SW gulf Sun. The cold front
will shift E of the gulf waters Sun night.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Fresh to strong trade winds will prevail in the S central
Caribbean through Tue night, pulsing to near gale off the coast
of Colombia through tonight. A cold front will move into the
Yucatan Channel Sun night. The front will continue eastward,
extending from near the Windward Passage to near the
Honduras/Nicaragua border by Tue night. Fresh to strong winds
behind the front will affect the waters off the Yucatan
Peninsula, Belize and Honduras Mon night through Tue night.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A stationary front from 25N65W to eastern Cuba will  linger
today, then dissipate Sat. A developing low pres system  over
the southern U.S. will drag a strong cold front off the coast of
northern Florida on Sun morning. Gale conditions are possible  N
of 28N ahead of the front in the southerly flow through Mon.
Another low pres system may develop off the Carolinas Mon night 
potentially significantly impacting the waters N of Grand Bahama
 through the middle of the week.
