Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front extending from SW Florida to the central Bay of 
Campeche will continue to move SE, shifting Se of the Yucatan
Channel and Straits of Florida late this morning. Gale force 
northwesterly winds have just ended across the far SW waters 
along the coast of Mexico and will continue to near 30 kt with
seas in excess of 12 ft through nearly 12Z before a gradual
diminishing trend ensues. Fresh to strong northerly flow will
continue S and E portions through early Wed morning. High pres 
will build in the wake of the front and prevail through Fri. The 
next cold front will move off the Texas coast early this weekend.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Seas to 8 ft currently across the tropical waters E of the
Windwards will gradually subside through Wed night. Fresh to
locally strong nocturnal trades are forecast along the N coast
of Colombia through the remainder of the week. A cold front will
move into the Yucatan Basin this morning, and weaken from the 
E tip of Cuba to Belize Wed evening, with remnants of the front 
lifting N across the NW Caribbean on Thu night and Fri.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front extends from 31N77W to 27N81W and will shift E and
SE across the forecast waters, moving E of the area midweek. 
Strong to near gale force winds will prevail over the waters N of
29N, increasing to minimal gale force tonight 06Z and lift out of
HSF waters 00Z Thu. Very large and deep low pressure supporting
this front will dominate waters W of 75W with NW swell through
Fri.
