Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A frontal boundary extends WSW from Jacksonville Florida across 
the NE Gulf to near 25N93W, then southward across western Gulf to
near Veracruz Mexico. High pres centered over Arkansas supports 
fresh to strong northerly winds mainly west of the front. The 
front will stall from southern Florida to near 26N95W to Veracruz
Mexico by Thu Night. Weak low pres developing along the front E 
of Brownsville TX will generate strong winds within 120 nm of the
TX coast on Thu. Winds and seas are expected to subside Fri as the
low and front gradually dissipates.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Fresh to strong winds will continue along the coast of Colombia
through Thu. A cold front north of the region will weaken the 
ridge N of the Caribbean on Fri and allow the winds to subside. 
Large long period NE swell over the Atlantic will continue to 
impact the waters east of the Lesser Antilles through tonight. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A frontal boundary extending east from south-central Florida to 
29N74W will slowly sink southward into the central Bahamas later
today, then stall Thu through Fri night. Strong high pressure 
building behind a reinforcing cold front Fri and Sat will cause 
strong easterly winds to develop NE of the Bahamas. Seas outside 
the Bahamas will build to between 9-14 ft Fri through Sat night.
