A cold front extends from 29N94W to 27N97W. This front will stall from SE Louisiana to Tampico, Mexico by tonight. A reinforcing cold front will move off the Texas coast early Tue, merging with the stationary front, then extending from the Florida Big Bend to 27N92W to near Vera Cruz by early Wed. Fresh to strong winds are forecast W of this front over the W central Gulf and W Bay of Campeche through Wed morning. The western portion of the front will stall and then drift northwest through midweek. The eastern portion will stall across the SE Gulf by Thu. Low pres will develop offshore Texas Thu and track E across the N Gulf through Fri accompanied by fresh to strong winds. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A surface trough over the Gulf of Honduras will continue to support scattered showers and tstms through Mon night including portions of Belize. Strong high pressure north of the region will continue to support fresh to strong winds along the coast of Colombia through Tue morning. Winds will briefly diminish as a front passes N of the area. The winds will return again Tue night continuing through Wed night as a new ridge builds N of the area. Large swell over the Atlantic Ocean will continue to impact the waters E of the Lesser Antilles through Wed afternoon. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A stationary front extends from a 1016 mb low near 30N65W SW to a 1015 mb low near 27N70W SW to the southern Bahamas near 23N74W. This front will dissipate through tonight. The southern low will meander over the region and then merge with a cold front that will reach from 31N69W to 28N77W Tue evening, then from 28N65W to 25N77W Wed evening. Another cold front will move S over the waters N and NE of the Bahamas Thu and Fri.
