Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front crossing the Gulf from Apalachicola Florida to the 
southern Bay of Campeche will move slowly SE today, with fresh to
strong N to NE winds expected west of the front. The front will 
stall from southern Florida to the Yucatan channel tonight, then 
gradually dissipate and allow winds to subside on Sat. E to SE 
return flow will develop across the basin Sat night through Tue.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pres north of the area will shift eastward into the central
Atlc this weekend, supporting fresh trade winds E of 70W. Strong
trades along the coast of Colombia will subside by Sat night. 
Strong trades will pulse S of Cabo Beata N of 16N between 70W and
73W Sat night and Sun. A Gulf of Mexico cold front will stall 
and weaken near the Yucatan Channel Sat morning. Trades will 
diminish Sun and Mon as high pres over the Atlc shifts E. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A stationary front extending E from 68W along 19N will dissipate
by Sun. Another cold front moving east from northern Florida 
early Sat will be preceded by fresh to strong southerly flow N of
29N. The front is expected to weaken and stall from 31N74W to 
southern Florida Sat evening then gradually shift northward on 
Sun.
