Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front across the western Gulf from southern Mississippi 
to Veracruz Mexico will move slowly SE through tonight, with 
fresh to strong winds developing west of the front. The front 
will weaken and stall from southern Florida to the Yucatan 
Peninsula Fri night, then gradually dissipate on Sat as large
scale E to SE return flow develops across the basin. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A large subtropical high pres area centered NE of Bermuda near 
34N62W will shift eastward into the central Atlc this weekend, 
supporting the development of fresh trade winds east of 80W. A 
Gulf of Mexico cold front will stall and dissipate across the 
Yucatan Channel on Sat morning. Trade winds will diminish Sun and
Mon as the subtropical high shifts further east and weakens.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A weakening cold front along 19N to 20N will dissipate through 
Sat. Another cold front moving east of northern Florida early Sat
will be preceded by fresh to strong southerly flow north of 27N.
The front is expected to weaken and stall from near 31N74W to 
southern Florida Sat evening, then transition into a frontal 
trough and gradually shift northward on Sun.
