The front will reach from western Florida Panhandle to just south of Veracruz, Mexico Fri morning, and from south Florida to Yucatan Peninsula Sat morning. A squall line is expected to develop just east of the cold front N of 27N tonight and shift eastward through Thu afternoon, with 30 kt of inflow and potential for brief gale-force winds as it moves E over the northern Gulf through Thu evening. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Moderate NE swell from Oscar will continue across the tropical Atlc waters and through the NE Caribbean passages through Wed morning before quickly fading. An Atlc cold front will stall from W central Cuba to the Yucatan Channel Wed morning then lift N and dissipate through Thu. High pres north of this front is producing fresh NE trades in the lee of Cuba tonight and will induce freshening trades across the central Caribbean and tropical Atlc waters late Wed through Fri. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... An old and weakening cold front extends from 25N65W through the Windward Passage then become diffuse just N of Jamaica will drift SE across the Atlc and gradually dissipate along 22N Wed evening. A reinforcing cold front from near 30N65W to the through the NW Bahamas along 24.5N to the Straits of Florida will move SE and reach from 26N65W to W central Cuba Wed morning, then stall and weaken from 24N65W to NW Cuba late Wed before dissipating late in the week.
