A cold front extends across NW Cuba coast, the Yucatan Channel and NW coast of the Yucatan Peninsula to 20N95W to 18.5N95W and will drift SE overnight and become stationary across the NW Caribbean and SW Gulf along 20N late Sun and gradually dissipate. A 1021 mb high is centered near 27.5N92W and will meander about the NW waters through late Mon then shift NE Tue. A new cold front will sink southward across the far northeastern Gulf Mon night through Tue then become diffuse Tue night and Wed. Strong high pres N of the front will shift NE into the Atlc Wed and Thu and induce fresh return flow across the basin late Tue through Wed before the next cold front drops into NW Gulf early Thu and reaches from Big Bend to SW Gulf by Fri morning. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Moderate NE to E trades will prevail across the Caribbean through tonight, except for fresh to strong trades in the south- central sections, and gentle E winds across E portions to the SW of Oscar. A cold front across the Straits of Florida, NW Cuba and Yucatan Channel tonight will move slowly SE and become stationary from central Cuba to just NE of Belize early Mon, then drift NW and gradually dissipate through Wed night. The fresh to strong trades in the south- central Caribbean will diminish to moderate to fresh trades Mon through Thu. Long period NE swell from Tropical Storm Oscar has begun to move into the northern waters of the tropical N Atlantic and through the Caribbean Passages tonight and will dominate seas through Mon afternoon before fading as Oscar lifts out of the region. A cold front extending from 31N70W across the NW Bahamas to La Habana, Cuba will move SE and begin to stall tonight, reaching from near Bermuda through the central Bahamas and W central Cuba Mon. Long period NE swell from Tropical Storm Oscar is moving into the SE waters early this morning and will prevail across the entire area Mon through late Wed before fading. A weak cold front will move over the northwest waters late Mon and move SE through late Wed where it will gradually stall almost E to W along 23-24N and S central Bahamas.
