The low will track northeastward to the Mid-Atlantic coast through Sat pushing the cold front across the rest of the Gulf through Sat afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are occurring along the front. W to NW winds behind the front have diminished to 15-20 kt over the northern Gulf E of about 90W. This winds will continue to diminish through Sat. Seas of 5-7 ft with these winds slowly subside to 3-5 ft by Sat night. The front will become nearly stationary from central Cuba to the SW Gulf by Sat night. A weak cold front will sweep across the eastern Gulf from Sun night through Tue followed by high pressure that will shift eastward over the northern Gulf through Wed. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Gentle to moderate trades will prevail across the Caribbean Sea through Sat. A cold front over the eastern Gulf of Mexico will become stationary across Yucatan Channel Sat night and Sun. A warm front extending from 31N70W to a 1003 mb low over southeastern Georgia will lift N of the area by late tonight as the low tracks northeastward toward the Mid-Atlantic coast. Strong E to SE winds east of Florida will continue through late tonight. A trailing cold front from the low will reach from 31N75W to the NW Bahamas Sat, then stall and weaken from near 31N70W to central Cuba Sun and Sun night.
