Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Marine conditions will improve across the NE Gulf today as
Tropical Storm Michael moves further NE from the region. A cold
front across the NW Gulf will reach from central Florida
Panhandle to SW Gulf by early Sat. The front will lift north on
Sun as return flow develops across the W Gulf ahead of a strong
cold front, expected to reach the Texas coast Mon afternoon.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Moderate trades will prevail across the Tropical Atlc and E
Caribbean through Fri. A broad area of low pressure is expected
to develop across the W central Caribbean along 80W Fri through
Sat then drift slowly WNW through Mon. NE swell from Hurricane
Leslie will affect Atlc waters and Caribbean passages through
Fri.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Tropical Storm Michael inland over South Carolina  will move
parallel to the SE U.S. coast and emerge over the NW Atlc Fri.
Fresh S winds N of the Bahamas will gradually veer to  the S-SW
through tonight as Michael moves across the Carolinas.  NE swell
from Hurricane Leslie will affect regional waters through Fri. A
weak cold front will move into the NW waters this weekend, then
stall from Bermuda to N central Florida Sun through Mon and
weaken.
