Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure will prevail over the forecast area. A surface
trough will develop each evening over the Yucatan peninsula. The
trough will move into the SW Gulf overnight, where it will
dissipate each morning. Moderate to fresh winds will accompany
the trough.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Fresh to strong winds associated with the remnants of Kirk are
south of Hispaniola. These winds will diminish by Sun morning.
Gentle to moderate winds will prevail elsewhere through the
middle of next week. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Tropical Storm Leslie was near 33.9N 52.0W at 11 PM  EDT. Large
swell generated from Leslie will propagate across the  forecast
waters over the weekend, and continue to affect the  forecast
waters through Thu.
