Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Light to gentle winds will generally prevail the next couple of
days before increasing slightly through the middle of next week.
Seas of 3 ft or less will prevail. A surface trough will develop
over the Yucatan peninsula each evening, shift W over the SW
gulf each night, then dissipate each morning. Moderate to fresh
winds will accompany the trough.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Tropical Storm Kirk near 9.3N 30.2W 1006 mb at 11 AM EDT moving
W at 18 kt. Maximum sustained winds 35 kt gusts 45 kt. Kirk will
move to 9.8N 33.2W this evening, 10.2N 37.3W Mon morning, 10.5N
41.5W Mon evening, 10.7N 45.6W Tue morning, and 11.2N 52.4W Wed
morning. Kirk will change little in intensity as it moves to
near 12.3N 57.5W early Thu, and continue to near 13.5N 62.0W
Fri. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Low pres centered near 28N68W 1010 MB will weaken and slowly
drift W across the northern forecast waters through early  next
week.
