A high pressure ridge over the southeastern United States will maintain gentle to moderate E to SE winds and seas generally 3 ft or less will generally prevail through the end of next week. A surface trough will develop over the Yucatan peninsula each evening, shift W over the SW gulf each night, then dissipate by morning. Moderate to fresh winds will accompany the trough. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Tropical Depression Eleven near 13.1N 53.4W 1007 mb at 11 PM EDT moving WNW at 5 kt. Maximum sustained winds 30 kt gusts 40 kt. Eleven will move to 13.5N 54.2W Sat morning, 13.8N 55.0W Sat evening, 14.2N 56.3W Sun morning, 14.5N 58.0W Sun evening, and dissipate Mon evening. Otherwise, fresh to strong winds prevail over the central Caribbean. These winds will diminish across most of the basin by Sun night as low pres passing N of the Bahamas weakens the ridge over the western Atlc. Winds in this area will increase toward the end of next week as the ridge rebuilds.
