The surface high will shift south to near 27N94W on Sun with the ridge extending southeast to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough, extending southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone Florence, will pass slowly east across the north-central gulf waters through early next week. The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will move west across Yucatan Channel on Tue night and Wed, and across the southwest gulf waters on Thu. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will continue west across the central Caribbean through early Sun accompanied by a large area of thunderstorms, then pass through the western Caribbean early next week. Otherwise, gentle trades are forecast west of the remnants of Isaac, while moderate to locally fresh trades are forecast to the east of the remnants of Isaac. Strong trades are forecast to resume nocturnally on Mon night off the northwest coast of Colombia.
