Tropical Storm Gordon is now inland over southeast Mississippi. Winds and seas over the northern Gulf between Apalachicola and the mouth of the Mississippi River will be subsiding through early morning. Weak ridging will build from the Carolinas to the coast of Texas in the wake of Gordon, supporting gentle to moderate easterly winds and modest seas into early next week.
