Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A ridge extending westward from the Atlantic into the northern 
Gulf will prevail across the basin through the weekend. A 
nocturnal trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the SW 
Gulf each night, accompanied by surge of fresh NE to E winds. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A high pressure ridge north of the area will prevail through the
weekend, and maintain fresh to occasionally strong trade winds 
over the south-central Caribbean, and moderate to fresh trades 
elsewhere. A large area of showers and thunderstorms associated 
with a tropical wave along 48W will move west across the tropical
N Atlantic Fri and Sat, reaching the eastern Caribbean Sat night.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A high pressure ridge roughly along 30N will prevail across the 
region through the weekend, and support moderate trade winds.
