A surface trough from the Florida Big Bend to the central gulf will weaken today. High pressure will build across the northern waters in the wake of the trough. Elsewhere, a surface trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the Bay of Campeche each evening, accompanied by moderate to fresh nocturnal winds. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest surface observations indicate fresh to strong winds over the south central Caribbean, light to gentle winds over the western Caribbean, while moderate to fresh winds prevail over the remainder of the Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Seas are in the 6-8 ft range over the south central Caribbean, 2-3 ft over the western Caribbean, 3-4 ft over the eastern Caribbean, and 5-6 ft over the north central Caribbean. Over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones, seas are in the 5-7 ft range.
