Latest surface observations indicate gentle to moderate winds prevail across the gulf waters. Seas are in the 4-6 ft range over the NE gulf, and 1-3 ft elsewhere. A cold front extending from the Florida Big Bend to SE Louisiana will continue to drift SE across the Gulf waters tonight before stalling and weakening to a trough. Elsewhere, a surface trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the Bay of Campeche each evening, accompanied by fresh nocturnal winds. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest surface observations indicate fresh to strong winds over the south central Caribbean, light to gentle winds over the western Caribbean, and moderate to fresh winds over the remainder of the Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Seas are in the 6-8 ft range over the south central Caribbean, 2-3 ft over the western Caribbean, 4-6 ft over the remainder of the Caribbean, and 5-6 ft over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones.
