Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Weak high pressure will prevail across the gulf through Friday,
except for the SW basin where a surface trough will move off the
Yucatan Peninsula each evening enhancing nocturnal winds to
fresh. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Strong high pressure anchored in the north-central Atlc
extending a ridge to the northern Caribbean will support fresh
to strong winds in the south-central and great portions of the
SW Caribbean, except for near gale force winds along the coast
of Colombia. Winds will reach gale-force at night today, Tue and
Wed.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough extends from 30N65W to 28N73W with scattered to
isolated showers within 60 nm either side of its axis. The
trough will shift out of the area by Tuesday as high pressure
continues to build across the area. Surface ridging will then 
prevail through Fri.
