Latest surface observations indicate light to gentle winds prevail over the gulf waters. Seas are in the 2-3 ft range over the SW gulf and 1-2 ft over the remainder of the gulf waters. High pressure will prevail across the northern waters through Thu. A surface trough will move westward off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Thu, enhancing nocturnal winds in the SW Gulf. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest surface observations indicate fresh to strong winds over the central Caribbean, gentle to moderate winds over the western Caribbean, with moderate to fresh winds over the eastern Caribbean and the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Seas are in the 8-11 ft range over the south- central Caribbean, 7-8 ft over the north central Caribbean, 3-5 ft over the western Caribbean, with 4-6 ft seas over the eastern Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. High pressure prevails N of the area helping provide a pressure gradient to support fresh to strong winds over the central Caribbean. Nocturnal winds will increase to near gale force, and may reach minimal gale force, over the south central Caribbean off the coast of Colombia through midweek. NE swell will propagate into the tropical N Atlc forecast zones early next week, building seas to near 8 ft. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... Latest surface observations indicate moderate to fresh winds over the waters S of 22N, and light to gentle elsewhere. Outside the Bahamas, seas are in the 5-6 ft range S of 22N and 3-5 ft N of 22N. West of the Bahamas, seas are in the 102 ft range. A surface trough extends from 31N69W to the NW Bahamas. The trough will move little through Sunday night while weakening.
