Weak high pressure will prevail across the area through Tue. A surface trough will move westward off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Wed. It will enhance nocturnal winds over the eastern Bay of Campeche. The northern portion of a tropical wave will move westward across the SW Gulf through tonight. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A tropical wave along 71W will move across the central Caribbean through Sat night, then across the western Caribbean Sun and Sun night. Another tropical wave just past the Lesser Antilles will quickly move across the eastern Caribbean tonight through Sat night, the central Caribbean Sun through Mon night, and the western Caribbean Tue through Wed. High pressure will build across the region behind each passing tropical wave to freshen trade winds across the central Caribbean waters. Winds will pulse to strong to near gale force each night off Colombia through Tue, except to minimal gale force tonight, Sat night and Sun night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A surface trough extends from a 1016 mb low north of the area near 34N68W southwestward to 31N70W and to the NW Bahamas. The trough will move little through Sun night while weakening. However, scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected along and southeast of the trough over much of the eastern and central zones north of about 25N.
