A weak 1014 mb low is just inland the coast of northern Florida at 30N84W, with a trough extending to another 1014 mb low at 28N84W and continues to near 24N86W. The low near 28N84W will dissipate Sun, while the low near 30N84W will drift westward towards the SW Alabama and SE Louisiana coasts Sun and Sun night while weakening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue over much of the NE Gulf and the far NE section of the N central gulf waters through Tue night. Weak high pressure covering the central and western Gulf will change little through Thu night. A surface trough will emerge off the Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Wed, and act to enhance nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... High pressure north and northeast of the Caribbean and Tropical N Atlantic waters will remain mainly strong through the period. A tropical wave near 72W/73W will move across the remainder of the Caribbean and reach central America Sun night. Another tropical wave near 53W will move into the tropical North Atlantic region this evening and move across those waters through Sun night. It will then move across the eastern Caribbean Mon through Tue night and the central Caribbean Wed and Wed night. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected with the wave. Fresh to strong winds across the central Caribbean will gradually diminish Sun through Tue before strengthening again Wed through Thu night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A high pressure ridge extending west-southwestward across the western Atlantic will weaken through Tue in response to the development of broad low pressure northeast of the Bahamas.
