A strong pressure gradient between this area of low pressure and a ridge over the E Gulf support fresh to near gale force over Louisiana adjacent waters continuing through early Mon morning. Frequent gusts to gale force winds are expected over the coast of Louisiana. Otherwise, fresh to strong southeast winds over much of the western sections of the gulf will continue through Thu. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A tropical wave near 71W will move across the central Caribbean today and Mon, and over western Caribbean waters Tue through Thu. A second tropical wave will enter the E basin on Tue morning and move over central waters Wed night. Strong trades in the south-central Caribbean will gradually diminish through Mon morning. Strong winds will resume Mon evening N of the Gulf of Venezuela but rapidly diminish early on Tue.
