A ridge extending from the Atlantic Ocean into the Gulf waters will dominate the region through at least Monday. A thermal trough will develop during the evening hours in the Yucatan Peninsula, then move west across the southwest waters during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. A broad trough will develop in the eastern Gulf today, and drift WNW through Monday. Easterly winds will begin to increase gradually in the SE Gulf waters during the middle of next week, in response to deepening low pressure in the NW Caribbean Sea. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Atlantic Ocean high pressure will maintain fresh to locally strong trades in the central Caribbean Sea through early next week, with highest seas of 9 ft off the northwest coast of Colombia. Broad low pressure will develop in the southwest Caribbean Sea, and move north across Nicaragua early next week, emerging in the Gulf of Honduras during the middle of next week. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
