An Atlantic ridge extending west across Central Florida to the Texas Coastal Bend will shift slightly north and extend across the northern waters on Sat where it will meander through Mon morning. A thermal trough will develop during the evening hours over the Yucatan Peninsula, then move west across the southwest waters during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. A broad trough will develop across the eastern gulf late Mon and drift west through Tue. Easterly winds will begin to gradually increase across the southeast gulf waters during the middle of next week in response to deepening low pressure over the northwest Caribbean. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Atlantic high pressure will maintain fresh to locally strong trades across the central Caribbean through early next week, with highest seas of 9 ft forecast off the northwest coast of Colombia. Large northeast swell currently propagating south through the northeast Atlantic Passages will begin to subside from the east on Sat night and Sun. Broad low pressure is beginning to develop across the southwest Caribbean. An associated surface low will begin to move north across Nicaragua early next week, emerging in the Gulf of Honduras during the middle of next week. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
