Broad low pressure prevails over the eastern waters with a weak surface low currently over the northeast gulf waters. Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate gentle to moderate winds east of the trough with light to gentle winds elsewhere. Seas are in the 1-3 ft range. The low is forecast to drift north reaching inland the Florida Panhandle by early Thu. As the low continues northward it will trail a trough across the north-central waters through Fri. High pressure will build in its wake and prevail through the upcoming weekend. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate fresh to strong winds over the central Caribbean, gentle to moderate over the west Caribbean, and moderate to fresh over the eastern Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast waters. Seas are in the 7-9 ft range over the central Caribbean, 4-6 ft over the eastern and western Caribbean, and 5-6 ft over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Fresh to locally strong trades will continue across the Caribbean south of 18N east of 80W through the upcoming weekend with highest seas of 9 ft off the northwest coast of Colombia. Large northeast swell will reach the tropical waters northeast of the Virgin Islands on Fri, and reach the northeast Atlantic Passages on Sat, with seas then subsiding from the east on Sun. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
