Low pressure is centered over the SE Gulf. Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate moderate to fresh winds east of the low, with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere. Seas are in the 2-4 ft range. The area of low pressure will slowly move northward through the week. Showers and thunderstorms will affect the Gulf waters near and E of the low through the week. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate fresh to strong trades over the south central Caribbean, gentle to moderate winds over the western Caribbean, and moderate to fresh winds over the remainder of the Caribbean waters as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Seas are in the 7-9 ft range over the south central Caribbean, 5-7 ft over the north central and eastern Caribbean, and 3-5 ft over the western Caribbean. Over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones, seas are in the 6-8 ft range. The fresh to strong trades will continue to prevail over the south- central Caribbean through Fri night. NE swell will maintain seas around 8 ft over the southern portion of the tropical N Atlc forecast waters until Tue. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
