Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations depict light to gentle winds over the NW Gulf with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere over the Gulf waters. Seas are in the 1-2 ft range over the NW Gulf, with 2-3 ft seas prevailing elsewhere. The front will become diffuse tonight. Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf tonight. This front will shift across the Gulf, moving SE of the area Sat. High pres will build in the wake of the front. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations depict moderate to fresh winds over the south central Caribbean with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere over the Caribbean waters as well as the tropical N Atlc waters. Winds will pulse to fresh to locally strong over the central Caribbean the next couple of nights. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate trades will continue through the period. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A cold front extends from 31N76W to the Straits of Florida. Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations depict fresh to strong winds over the NE part of the forecast area with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere. Seas are in the 7-9 ft range over the NE part of the forecast area, 5-6 ft elsewhere outside the Bahamas, and 1-2 ft west of the Bahamas. The front will stall and dissipate tonight. A second cold front will move over the northwest waters Fri night. This front will reach from near 31N72W to the Straits of Florida Sat night, and from near 31N66W to 25N72W to west-central Cuba by Sun night.
