A cold front extends from S Florida to the Bay of Campeche. Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate gentle to moderate winds prevail across the gulf. Seas are in the 1-3 ft range. The front will reach the SE Gulf Wed where is will stall. A second cold front will move into the NW Gulf Wed night. This front will shift across the Gulf waters and merge with the stalled front late Sat. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate moderate to fresh winds over the south central Caribbean, with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere across the Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc waters. Seas are in the 6-8 ft range over the south central Caribbean, 2-3 ft over the western Caribbean, and 3-5 ft over the remainder of the Caribbean waters. Seas in the 5-6 ft range prevail across the tropical N Atlc waters. The afternoon gentle to moderate winds will pulse to fresh to strong over the central Caribbean during the overnight hours through the week. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate winds will prevail. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A cold front extending from 31N78W to central Florida. Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate strong to near gale force winds N of 29N between 70W and 76W. Gentle to moderate winds prevail west of the front, while moderate to fresh winds prevail elsewhere. Seas are in the 8-13 ft range in the region of strong to near gale winds, 6-8 ft elsewhere N of 26N, 5-6 ft S of 26N and outside the Bahamas, and 1-2 ft west of the Bahamas. The front will reach from 31N70W to the straits of Florida Thu where it will stall and dissipate.
