Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

An east to west ridge across the northern Gulf waters will shift
east ahead of a cold front entering the northwest gulf tonight.
The front will stall from southwest Florida to south Texas on
Fri, then lift back north as a weak warm front on Sat ahead of a
second cold front reaching the Texas coast late Sat night. The
second cold front will reach from the western Florida Panhandle
to the SW Gulf on Sun night, and from Tampa Bay to the Yucatan
Peninsula on on Mon.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A broad, north to south orientated trough in the vicinity of
Puerto Rico will pass west through the Mona Passage through 
tonight and gradually dissipate over Hispaniola on Thu. Fresh to
locally strong trades along the north coast of South America 
will expand northward on Thu and Fri, then diminish somewhat late
this weekend into early next week. Northeast swell will increase
east of the Leewards on Thu night and Fri. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Remnants of a stationary front from 30N65W to the southeast 
Bahamas will drift west on Thu, and gradually dissipate across 
the western Bahamas on Fri. A cold front will move off the 
northeast Florida coast late Thu, reach from Bermuda to south 
Florida by late Fri, then stall from 26N65W to the Straits of 
Florida late Sat. Remnants of the front will lift north on Sun 
ahead on another cold front moving east across the southeast 
United States and entering the northwest waters late Tue.
