Strong to minimal gale force winds are ongoing in the NW Gulf following a late season cold front that extends from SE Louisiana near 29N91W to Veracruz, Mexico near 20N96W. Seas in this region are up to 9 ft. Fresh to strong southerly flow is ahead of the front to 84W. Gale force northerly winds already extend to Tampico with seas building to 13 ft. Gale conditions are forecast to reach Veracruz by this afternoon as the front reaches from SE Louisiana to the western Bay of Campeche. The front will sweep across the southeast Gulf by early Mon morning.
