A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula during the afternoons, drift west across the eastern Bay of Campeche during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the southwest gulf waters by late each morning. An east to west ridge across the northern coastal plains is retracting east ahead of cold front moving into the northwest gulf waters. The front will dissect the gulf waters from the Florida Big Bend to the Bay of Campeche this evening, then weaken across the southern gulf waters on Thu, and then gradually dissipate on Thu night into Fri. Another cold front will enter the far northwest waters late Fri night, extend east to west across the northern waters on Sat, and stall from the Florida Big bend to Veracruz Mexico on Sun. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Fresh to locally strong nocturnal trades will continue along the northwest coast of Colombia through Sun night.
