The high will drift southeastward into the NE Gulf through Thursday, and winds in the western Gulf will veer to the southeast in response. Southerly return flow will prevail across the entire basin Fri through Mon. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A weakening stationary front extends across the NW Caribbean from the Windward Passage to southern Belize. Fresh to strong easterly winds prevail across the south-central Caribbean, with seas to 9 ft. Moderate to fresh trade winds continue across the tropical N Atlantic, with 7 to 8 ft seas. The front will dissipate through early Thursday, and little change is expected elsewhere through the weekend. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A stationary front extends from 26N65W across the SE Bahamas to the Windward Passage, with 10-15 ft seas north of 27N behind the front in NW swell.
