Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate moderate to fresh winds prevail over the forecast waters. Seas are in the 1-2 ft range over the NE Gulf, 2-4 ft over the SW Gulf, and 2-3 ft elsewhere. A cold front will shift across the forecast waters through Wed night, then SE of the area Thu. High pres will build in the wake of the front. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate moderate to fresh winds over the south central Caribbean, with gentle to moderate winds over the remainder of the Caribbean as well as the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Seas are reaching 13 ft over the Mona and Anegada passages. Elsewhere, seas are in the 5-6 ft range over the eastern Caribbean, 2-4 ft over the remainder of the Caribbean, and 8-12 ft range over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones. Large northerly swell will continue to push through the ATLC passages through midweek. The large swell will also propagate through the Tropical N ATLC waters through the week. Trade winds will strengthen over the central Caribbean, increasing seas to 8-10 ft by midweek. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
