Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with surface observations indicate gentle to moderate winds prevail across the forecast waters. Seas are in the 4-6 ft range over the south central Caribbean and 2-4 ft elsewhere across the Caribbean waters. Over the tropical N Atlc forecast zones, seas are in the 5-7 ft range. Low pressure over the NW Atlc has generated a large and dangerous N swell that will penetrate the NE Caribbean Passages through late Wed, reaching the A-B-C Islands and coastal Venezuela. The low will drag a cold front into the northern Caribbean tonight, then the front will weaken and dissipate by Mon.
