Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A weak cold front is over the NW Gulf from the Florida Panhandle
to S Texas. The front will stall and weaken through tonight.
High pressure will build across the region Tue. Another,
stronger cold front will move into the NW Gulf Wed night. Gale
conditions are possible over the SW Gulf Thu afternoon and Thu
night behind this front.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pres N of the area will support fresh to strong trade winds
along the coast of Colombia throughout the period. Similar winds
will pulse in the Windward passage, and along the SE coast of
Hispaniola through Wed night. Large swell will cross the
tropical Atlc zones Wed night through Fri.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

High pressure centered near 29N68W will weaken and  shift SE
through Tue night. A cold front will move off the SE  coast of
the U.S. Tue, and reach the central Bahamas Wed evening, as high
pressure builds N of the front. Strong return flow will reach
the zones E of 70W Thu. Low pres N of the area and associated
cold front over the waters E of north FL will induce near gale
to gale conditions and a significant swell event starting early
Fri.
