Otherwise, Large high pres over the W Atlc will slowly weaken during the next few days and allow strong winds over the Straits of Florida and near the Yucatan to subside by Fri. Ridging on the W side of the high will generate moderate to fresh SE return flow across the basin through Sun. A weak cold front will drift into the Texas coastal waters late Sun then head SE and extend from the FL Panhandle to Veracruz Mexico Mon afternoon. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Strong high pres over the NW Atlc will dominate the region as it remains centered near Bermuda through the end of the week. Fresh to strong trade winds will prevail across the Caribbean and Tropical N Atlc waters through Fri night, with nocturnal winds pulsing to gale force along the Colombia coast. The strong high will weaken this weekend into early next week, leading to diminishing winds and seas.
