Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A weakening warm front extends across the east Gulf along 30N. 
The front will dissipate by this evening. Moderate to fresh 
winds will become southerly this weekend ahead of a cold front 
that is expected to move off the Texas coast by Sun night. Seas 
will range from 4-6 ft through the weekend, increasing slightly
with the next frontal passage. The front will stall and weaken 
from the Mississippi Delta to the western Bay of Campeche by 
early next week.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Fresh to strong trades will prevail across the eastern Caribbean
through the weekend and early next week. Highest winds will be 
along the NW coast of Colombia, where nocturnal pulses will reach
gale-force each night. Expect wave heights to reach 12-16 ft with
the gale winds. Elsewhere, wave height will range between 9-12 
ft.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A frontal system is weakening north of the area, analyzed as a
stationary front that extends along 30N. A ridge will build 
across the area through the weekend. Strong high pressure in the 
Atlantic will maintain fresh to strong trade winds south of 25N 
through early next week. Seas will range from 8-11 ft with the
strongest winds.
