A stationary front extends along 25N from the Florida Keys to the central Gulf. Small areas of showers are forming along the front impacting the southeast Gulf. The front will dissipate through early this morning ahead of another cold front expected to move into the northern Gulf tonight. Moist southerly flow will push across the Gulf ahead of the front, crossing over cooler shelf waters off the east coast of Florida. This will result in areas of sea fog tonight and early Mon over the southeast Gulf, mostly over coastal areas. The second front will move across the northern half of the Gulf through early Mon, then stall from South Florida to South Texas by late Mon. The front will dissipate as it lifts northward Tue, ahead of a third and somewhat stronger front expected to move into the northwest Gulf late Thu. High pressure will build over the western Atlantic Tue, supporting moderate to fresh easterly winds across the eastern Gulf Tue and Wed. The high will shift east ahead of the third front allowing the winds over the eastern Gulf to diminish. Fresh to strong northerly flow will follow the third cold front over the northwest and west central Gulf through Thu. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Winds will continue to pulse to minimal gale force off the coast of Colombia each night through Thu night. Fresh to strong NE winds are ongoing through the Windward Passage and in the lee of the Dominican Republic, including the Mona Passage will pulse through mid week. Farther east, moderate NE winds will increase and veer more easterly as high pressure builds over the central Atlc. NE to E swell in excess of 8 ft will follow by early Mon and persisting through mid week. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A cold front extending from 31N58W to South Florida is stalling along 26N/27N. The front will dissipate through today as it lifts north of the area through late today followed by fresh to strong southerly flow. This will be ahead of another cold front moving off the NE Florida coast late tonight, followed by fresh northerly flow.
