Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A ridge axis from northern Florida to NE Mexico will weaken by
tonight as a cold front moves off the Texas coast early Fri. The
front will stall along 26N Fri night, then lift back north as a 
warm front across the western gulf Sat through Sat night ahead of
another cold front moving off the Texas coast on Sun. The second 
front will push southward to reach along 25N Sun night and along 
23N on Mon.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A shear line extending across the NW Caribbean from eastern Cuba
to Honduras will gradually dissipate through tonight. A moderate 
pres gradient between Atlantic high pressure and persistent low 
pressure in NW Colombia will support nocturnal gale force winds 
along the coast of Colombia again tonight, with maximum seas of 
13-15 ft. The pressure gradient will relax this weekend. A cold 
front will stall across the Yucatan Channel Mon.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A weakening cold front extends from 31N52W to 26N58W to 23N68W, 
then stationary to eastern Cuba. The front will dissipate today,
with remnants of the front lifting north across the Bahamas by
tonight ahead of a second cold front moving off northern Florida
on Fri. This second cold front will reach from Bermuda to 24N80W
Sat, then stall from 25N65W to 23N80W on Sat night. A third cold
front will move off the Florida coast on Sun night.
