Strong winds with frequent gusts to gale force are also observed along the northern coast of central Cuba and in the Straits of Florida. Fresh to strong NE-E winds are blowing across the remainder of the forecast area in the wake of the front, forecast to move slowly S reaching near 20N by this evening as the high pres slides eastward across the Atlantic Ocean.
