A stationary front extending SW from near 24N80W to 21N93W will gradually dissipate through tonight. A NW to SE orientated trough will meander across the far SW waters from near 22N96W to 18N93W through early Sat, then lift N as a warm front on Sat afternoon with a surface low developing along the warm front and reaching near 28N87W at sunrise on Sun, then race NE passing across the Florida Big Bend on Sun evening, while dragging a cold front across the Eastern Gulf waters on Sun night through Mon morning. Minimal gale conditions SW of the trough will end by this evening. Strengthening high pressure is supporting strong NE winds elsewhere across the S-Central and SW Gulf waters with these conditions forecast to shift E across the E Gulf waters later today and continue through Fri night, with the strong winds clocking to the SE on Sat night as the warm front lifts northward. Guidance is now suggesting near gale force winds over the E semicircle of the forecasted surface low, with strong N winds developing in the wake of the cold front next week. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Moderate to fresh trades will continue across the tropical Atlc waters E of the Windwards through Fri night, with strong NE winds forecast on Sat through Sun night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
