High pressure prevails over the forecast waters. Latest surface observations indicate light to gentle winds over the northeast Gulf, with gentle to moderate winds prevailing elsewhere. Seas are in the 1-2 ft range over the northeast Gulf, and 2-4 ft elsewhere. High pressure will prevail over the northern waters through the forecast period. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan each day. The trough will shift westward into the SW Gulf each night, where it will dissipate each morning. A pair of troughs will move into the Bahamas and central Caribbean, tightening the pressure gradient by late week and resulting in moderate to fresh winds and seas to 5 ft over the SE and S central Gulf by Sat. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W...
