A weakening front slipped off the Texas coast as is forecast to meander along the coast and gradually dissipate through Thu. Fresh southerly return flow, 4-7 ft seas, and a few showers, currently observed across the NW Gulf waters will diminish to a moderate southerly breeze by this evening, and continue through late Thu night, then light southerly winds are forecast W of about 90W through Sat, with moderate SE-S flow expected across the NW waters on Sat evening through Mon night. Moderate to locally fresh NE-E winds currently across the SE Gulf will continue through Thu night with the pressure gradient tightening resulting in moderate NE winds across the E-Central waters on Fri through Mon. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A broad trough from Haiti to the N coast of Honduras will drift W and gradually dissipate over the next couple of days while enhancing convection. Moderate to fresh NE winds are forecast to continue through and downstream of the Windward Passage and lee of the E coast of Cuba through tonight. The pressure gradient will continue to tighten with moderate to fresh NE flow expected across the NW Caribbean on Thu evening through Sat morning before the gradient relaxes supporting moderate NE flow through the middle of next week. Fresh nocturnal trades forecast along the NW coast of Colombia tonight and on Thu night. Gentle to moderate trades expected elsewhere. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... Moderate E winds are forecast E of the frontal boundary.
