Latest scatterometer data indicates moderate trade winds prevail across the region. A tropical wave along 81W in the western Caribbean will move west at 15-20 kt across Central America through Sunday night. A tropical wave with abundant precipitable water along 70W in the central Caribbean will move west at 20 kt across the remainder of the Caribbean through early Tuesday with widespread shower activity and the potential for gusty winds. Another tropical wave along 47W in the central Atlantic will cross 55W on Sunday and reach the eastern Caribbean on Monday. Fresh to locally strong winds will prevail across the south- central Caribbean through Wednesday.
