Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with ship...buoy...and CMAN data depict gentle to moderate winds prevail over the forecast waters. Seas are in the 1-3 ft range. The surface trough will dampen out over the next 24 hours. Afterwards, high pressure will prevail over the northern waters. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each day during the late afternoon hours. The trough will move into the SW Gulf during the overnight hours, where it will dissipate late each morning. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Latest satellite derived winds and seas along with ship...buoy... and CMAN data depict fresh to locally strong trades over the south central Caribbean, moderate winds over the north central and eastern Caribbean, gentle to moderate winds over the western Caribbean, and moderate to fresh winds over the tropical north Atlantic forecast zones. Seas are in the 7-8 ft range over the south central Caribbean, 3-4 ft over the north central and eastern Caribbean, 1-3 ft over the western Caribbean, and 4-7 ft over the tropical north Atlantic forecast zones. Winds will pulse to strong over the south central Caribbean waters the through the weekend. High pressure will build north of the area by early next week.
