000 ACPN50 PHFO 201153 TWOCP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS Central Pacific Hurricane Center Honolulu HI 200 AM HST Mon Jul 20 2020 For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W: The National Hurricane Center has initiated advisories on newly formed Tropical Depression Seven-E, located about 1600 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii. A low pressure system located about 2500 miles east-southeast of the Hilo, Hawaii continues to show signs of organization, and recent satellite-derived wind data indicate that the low is producing winds just below tropical storm force. Environmental conditions are conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form during the next day or two while the low moves west-southwestward and then westward at 10 to 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.
