For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. Shower and thunderstorm activity has diminished in association with
a weak area of low pressure located about 250 miles east of
Jacksonville, Florida. Environmental conditions are expected to
remain unfavorable for development as the low accelerates
northeastward away from the United States coast.
